The Dashboard is your daily launchpad. It aggregates critical alerts, financial data, and inventory health into a single view, allowing you to triage issues immediately upon logging in.

1. Key Metrics at a Glance

The top row provides a high-level health check of your business.

Total Inventory Value The sum cost of all stock on hand. Monitor this to prevent over-investment.
Active POs Number of orders currently in production or transit.
Low Stock Items Count of SKUs below their safety stock threshold.

2. Actionable Widgets

The body of the dashboard is composed of "Action Cards" that require your attention.

🚨 POs Arriving Soon

Lists Purchase Orders expected to arrive in the next 7 days.

  • Action: Click to view details and prepare your warehouse team for receiving.
  • Why it matters: Helps you plan labor and space requirements.

💰 Unpaid Invoices

A summary of supplier invoices that are past due or coming due soon.

  • Action: Click to view the Invoice and mark as paid.
  • Why it matters: Maintain good relationships with suppliers by ensuring timely payments.

🛒 Recommended Purchases

A snapshot of the most urgent items from the Buy Table.

  • Action: Quick-link to create a PO for critical stock gaps.
  • Why it matters: Prevents revenue loss by highlighting imminent stockouts.
